I told Chris I would post this. I was rather disappointed that the game room didn't have checkers or normal poker deck type cards. (It's first year. I ran anime it's second year and didn't go it's third year) Could we please please PRETTY please have some board games and such that the typical person would recognize? I understand that this is a scifi convention and that you guys like your table top and such but it would be really nice if there were checkers or poker decks for use in the game room.

You got it. Oddly enough, I own about 200 board games but I'm pretty sure I don't own a checker set. Smiling I'll be sure to pick some up before the con.

I saw that criticism last year and here's a few games I plan to bring in addition to modern games like Settlers of Catan: Checkers, Chess, Go, Backgammon, decks of cards, Mille Borne, Monopoly, and Apples to Apples. Any other requests, let me know!

Another fun game that is limited only by having even numbers is CatchPhrase. It is like Hot Potato meets Password (old tv game show).
