Good evening,

I was curious if this convention was a 24-hour convention. Specifically, if all the different areas would be operating 24 hours a day over the course of the weekend.

I wasn't able to find the information readily available, sorry if it was posted somewhere.

Actually I think you can view the events of the convention here: Programming Grid. I'm not sure if that helps but it looks to me like con runs roughly 8AM to some time after 12 pm all three days of the convention.

Ahh I see. So there's an 8 hour time frame where the convention is closed then. Is this how it was last year as well?

I've kind of been holding off on answering, because I don't really know but there are a few events that will run past midnight: Midnight Magic Booster Draft and an RPG game. Both of the events are listed on the grid but the actual times are noted in the descriptions since the schedule doesn't go past midnight.

There may be other events, room parties that go past midnight, etc but I'm not sure. This being a hotel, there may be rules I'm not aware of.

If I weren't so old and tired, I might try to organize some midnight games of Werewolf.

As Sean points out some of the events do run past midnight but yes this is generally the same way the convention has run in previous years. Roughly eight hours down time between days with certain events being a special exception.

Much of the 'Hospitality' runs past midnight.

The convention doesn't close!

*Blinks a moment.* To my delight I stand corrected, Chris would know better then myself. I'm just a fan of the local convention. Smiling

Hopefully the LAN room can accommodate me Laughing out loud
