Registration Confirmation Email

I think this is the correct place for this post, if not feel free to move me.

I have a couple of friends trying to get signed up today and the confirmation emails have not been forthcoming. Im not sure if it is their individual email providers or maybe a hiccup somewhere on the Spocon end. Either way I figured you guys wouldn't mind a heads up.

I know there is a problem if they use Hotmail...

Should hear from someone else on here soon to verify.

I wasn't able to create an account from Hotmail or MSN, had to use the work email.
I know this is a problem for some friends trying to sign up, any fixes?

I have had the same problem for months. When I first set this up I used my hotmail account. I had to recreate a new account using my yahoo email address to even sign up.

Microsoft email services do not accept automated emails from our website, this is a known issue with no known workaround. Any other email service should work fine. If you are experiencing problems or need your password reset, please contact the Web Team webteam@spocon.org
