There has to be someone with the new street fighter, halo 3, rock band and guitar hero out there somewhere. I have a PS2, four different DDR games, Guitar Hero and a Guitar. Interested? We could have a Halo 3 tournament. Team Fortress is great and all, but I think that few console tournaments will be fun too.

There were plans last year for an xbox halo 3 tournament, but that never panned out, if you're really interested, push the gaming department, or see if you can find enough tv's/projectors or monitors and xboxes to make it happen!

At this point, no one has stepped up to be a Console Gaming lead. Having ran LAN parties for years, with a good deal of console activity it's something that involves effort. Hey, I've dealt with dozens of 14yo rabid Halo gamers ... ugh. I put some feelers out to several console gaming groups, and they none wanted to help out .. they just wanted to play and compete. To be honest that is what we are up against. If someone were willing to step up, plan, organize, and implement console gaming into what SpoCon is all about, then only the sky is the limit -- as is everything at SpoCon. Something for everyone!

There is a gaming club at SFCC and I'm friends with a lot of them. I will talk with them and get back to you.

Excellent!

Thank you!

I have a couple irons in the fire regarding console gaming as well. Nothing firm yet -- but the more experience we have helping run it, the better!

Hey Jeff, I will probably bring my 360 if that's cool, I don't have a ton of multiplayer games, but I'll have my xbox on-site just in case you need another (I'll bring my computer monitor too, just i case it's necessary)
