Projected attendance
It's time to order the badge supplies. We ordered for 700 attendees last year, which was close (and we ran out of bags and program books). We're currently running about 50 over last year's pre-reg. I'm thinking 800 is a good number, but I'm conservative.
Thoughts? Official orders?

Thoughts:
The Uber Cool Spiffy badges should equal in number to the number of program guides we are having printed. Or... 800 is a good number
If we have to come up with another 200 or 300 badges, so be it. That will be a challenge to look forward to, yes?
The shirt / merchandise order is working out to be conservative as well - I want to make sure we pay our bills, sell everything, and have oodles left over for donating books and rolling into next year.

I'd like to know how much rob is expecting to make off the program book ads, he seemed to be pretty confident that we could pay for the whole thing just on ads sold, if that's the case, doing 1000 might not be a bad idea, to insure that hopefully everyone gets one. My 2¢.
Nick
It was my knowledge 1000 was the target... 900 at the very least.

I agree ... 900!
I am getting 1000 bags from Uncle's and 1000 Hand Bills for the SpoCon group rate from the MAC

I am pretty sure that we are nowhere near to paying for the program book. The last time I spoke to Rob the only sales were the $400.00 or so from the Garland district.

I have an ad from the MAC.

We just sold RadCon on the inside front cover, so that is $425 on that. With some other sales, we are looking at approximately $900 on all that!
More to come until the 10th.

By the way...........we're, I believe, looking at somewhere between 900 - 1000 on attendance. We're printing 900 though which is the expected growth rate from last year, especially taking into account that we ran a little low last year with the program books and such.

I honestly think we need to print more. WE need to have some to send to companies to show we printed their ads and also we should have 10 or so to go out with the promo groups next year to show to potential ad buyers and such.

1k it is! ...?

Scott, I can always have a short run printed at work later for promotions and whatnot.

Ok I did not know what the cost was on a short run. Figured it was cheaper during the main run.
