LAN has 30 volunteers for $15. Clan HOOD has a group rate for $25 (correct me if I got that wrong Tim).

Correct -- HOOD has a discount code for $25 group rate, some will register at the door I imagine. Is there anything special we should have them say, do , provide?

I am still working on volunteers to help out with the MMM. More later / soon I hope.

Cancel the Realms of Avalon.

They get in at the volunteer rate due to Programming.

Can I have a Programming Volunteer code? ($15)

Realms of Avalon coupon has been deactivated.

Programming Volunteer coupon is now active for the $15 rate. I'll PM you the code.

Last year we were very trusting for at-the-door group rates. "You're from Clan HOOD? Kewl, here's your discount." I have no moral or philosophical objections to doing the same this year.

Norma, will it work if I give all of my Panelists the coupon code for Programming and when they show up at registration they say "I have a coupon code" ?

Even if there is no way to enter it, good way to verify someone is who they say they are, or at least close enough.

That would also suffice.

I'm close to completing the discount list feature in the registration app. So we can also work from a list of names of people who are supposed to receive discounts (by type and amount) as long as the spelling of the last name is correct!

I will see what I can do about ClanHOOD names and who will be registering at the door -- or at least a list of who's eligible. I don't know what, if anything, that I will be able to get to you. Since I will be mostly close to reg, I can be used as a point of verification -- will that work?

Do I need a coupon code for every GM, Gaming Volunteer, and Henchman I am bringing? I have List after List for Norma (ok ... 4 lists).

Which would work best?

Can't speak to how the codes work in PayPal. In the reg db, we'll have more accurate data if we use different codes for each category of volunteer. It'll be easier if we use one (assuming they'll all get the same rate). Being a nerd, I'm inclined to split them out. That way we can really slice 'n' dice the data.

Dana:

The ConCom code is in the sticky thread at the top for the ConCom forums ... Smiling

It's good for one discount at a time. I had to run through twice to get myself the the Princess Grot regged up at $15

Can the 501st let themselves get in at a discounted rate? I know there was an issue with them last year wanting to be comped, until they found out that 501st by-laws forbid that. I'm not sure if it covers discounts too, I think they may have to pay full price if they're "trooping". Just thought I'd mention that.

Can we consider them 'volunteering' to assist with Public Relations and Womprat Control?

Looking at last year's data, the registrants I have explicitly connected to the 501st were either comp'd or at the volunteer rate.
