Science-Fiction Author Jeanne Robinson Passes On To Her Eternal STARDANCE. May 30th, 2010 is the day that science-fiction author Jeanne Robinson moved up into the stars to perform her eternal STARDANCE.

An accomplished actress, choreographer, dancer as well as a Soto Zen Buddhist, Jeanne has left an indelible mark upon the world, and most definitely within the science-fiction community. Jeanne went on to write two sequels to STARDANCE, STARSEED (1991), and STARMIND (1995). As well, out of the novel STARDANCE, the STARDANCE project was born. A project designed to bring to fruition the reality of zero-gravity dance and that now continues on in an effort to bring this art form to the big screen.
SpoCon 2010 wishes to help in raising funds to help her husband Spider with Jeanne Robinson’s passing all of the associated costs such medical bills, and services. So SpoCon is proud to announce the SpoCon 2010 STARDANCE auction in memory of Jeanne Robinson.
The event will be held at the same time as the art auction and charity auction. We greatly appreciate any support that fandom can provide in helping to support this great cause and ask you all to show up in force to help do so.
Thank you for your support!
