Thanks, we'd love to have some SJ games there. As long as someone (you, mysterious MIB, or not-so-mysterious Rob McDonnel) commits to bringing the games, we'll have a space for you.

I'd be happy to run a 3.5 rpg or a board / card games table if you still need volunteers.

Thanks Kathleen, I'd love to have you. Is there one thing you'd rather do than another?

I have a 3.5 session set that I would run. Its a steam punk themed infiltration custom module. Just point me at a place to lay my dice! Otherwise, I'll be there to play!!

Bret here. I plan on running games all day. I can bring any of our demo copies, anything from my personal collection or if we ask real nice and far enough in advance, maybe something from Tom's collection>:) Please let me know here, at the store or on the event facebook page and I'll bring it along, otherwise I'll force what I want to play on everyone!;p

Sean and I have been talking in email since the first notice went out for the game day.

I'll be running two Traveller events, one (early) in a "Serenity/Firefly-like" setting and the other (later in the day) in a new setting called "Chthonian Stars". Yes, Chthulian horror comes to Sci-Fi (well Sci-Fi RPGs anyway).

Here's the schedule. Note that all games assume no previous experience with the system and characters will be provided or created as part of the game. There will be signup sheets available at 10am. If you really, really want to play something, let me know ahead of time and I'll try and get your name down.

All Day:

Board Games with Bret: Bret will be hosting a variety of board games from his collection (and mine!). Just ask and he'll set you up right!

The Men in Black: Spokane's own MIBs, Rob and Pk will be running the brand new Zombie Munchkin and other great Steve Jackson games like Frag and Ninja Burger.

Early Slot (10am-2pm):

Lucky Day (Firefly/Serenity with Traveller System): That derelict ship wasn't the easy payday you thought it would be, but now you have something else. Something that could be worth more than any ten expensive starships. You just have to get into a bombed out city on Arios to a gov't research facility to dig up the info. Bombed out cities with abandoned gov't research facilities? How hard can this be? (Gamemaster: Al Beddow)

The Lost Lightsaber (Star Wars Saga Edition): It is the height of the Clone Wars and violence grips the galaxy. While armies clash on distant battlefields, all is not well in Coruscant's Jedi Temple. An ancient lightsaber has been stolen from the Jedi archives, and it's up to the young Jedi padawan who was on watch to recover it! Can the Jedi and an odd group of friends find the lost lightsaber and get to the bottom of the theft? (Gamemaster: Chad Davis)

Rise of the Halitorum (D&D 3.5 Steampunk): A group of unsuspecting friends finds themselves thrust headlong into a steampowered war that's mysteries run deeper than they know. Nothing will ever be the same. Join them as they infiltrate high security steam facilities and sabotage the powers of the Corporation, plan and execute daring assassinations on public figures and unravel the truth behind the Halitorum As a special ops team in a steam powered world, the possibilities are only limited by your imagination. (Gamemaster: Aaron Hein)

Also a D&D 4e intro game hosted by me.

Late Slot (3pm-7pm)

Miranda (Traveller RPG set in the Chthonian Stars Setting): You are part of the Warden (glorified cop) team stationed on 'Puck' one of the moons orbiting Uranus. Events of the strange kind have been happening out at the Maranda Ice Mining Facility. Stories that will make the hair on your skin stand up, and give little kids nightmares. You were supposed to have the weekend off for a change. Notice how 'supposed to' always translates into 'better luck next time'? (Gamemaster: Al Beddow)

Bloody Nuptials - The Bride's Gone to Pieces (Warhammer Fantasy RPG, 2ed): The brutal murder of a young bride the night before her wedding causes a small town to cast suspicion every way but the right one.

Dominion Card Game: Come check out the hottest thing in board games right now, deck building! Robert will be teaching the grand daddy of them all, Dominion. He'll have some other games on hand as well. (Gamemaster: Robert Hubbard)

I'll run another D&D 4e game if there's interest, otherwise I'll be hosting board games. There's also a Firefly game but it's already filled up (let's just say there's some advantages to being the gaming chair's friend).

Late Night (7pm-12am)

Some people are putting a Firefly LARP. That's about the extent of what I know, I'll let Chad fill in the details.

For anyone/everyone interested in board games, please do let me know what you'd like to play. If I own it or can get a hold of it, I'll bring it along. Otherwise I'll be bringing whatever I think will be played and/or what I personally want to play. This is your last warning!;p
