KARAOKE CONTEST fundraiser for SpoCon 2011

All you wonderful singers out there, this is your chance to shine (and help out a great non profit group). And we welcome everyone who just wants to support our contestants and SpoCon. We have a bomb-diggity Karaoke Contest happening at one of Spokane's newest hot spots The Spotlight Lounge at 321 W Sprague Ave. Come join us on Monday, June 20th for some great singing, fantastic jello shots (Amazing Marmot style), and terrific prizes. Hosted by Me - Irish Heather Kelly - and Livewire Entertainment, this will be a hoot. 21 and over please.

Show starts at 8 but contestants should arrive at 7. There is a 5 dollar entry fee for contestants. We will have a First, Second and Third place winner (I think). I don't know the way the contest will be set up yet, but will keep updating when I figure out details. The jello shots are going to be 3 bucks each but all the proceeds go straight to SpoCon.

Gather up your friends and make a night of it. Contest should be over by 10 or 11, then the rest of us get to sing with no pressure! Hope to see you there.
